The Successes of Polish Horses in Mezohegyes

The Third World Young Horses Driving Championships which took place in Mezohegyes, Hungary between the 6th and the 10th of September 2017 were very successful for Polish contestants. Both Weronika Kwiatek and Bartłomiej Kwiatek won medals with their Silesian bred horses.

Weronika Kwiatek and her Silesian bred stallion Eter (Basior śl. – Eurella śl. /​ Domingo xx) won the title of the Second World Vice-Champion in the 7 year old horse category.

Eter is a Silesian stallion bred by Jan Wiszniowski and owned by Bartosz Kowalski.  The horse presented by Weronika Kwiatek to the public and judges had already successfully competed both locally and internationally. During CAI3* in Kladrubach oder Lab Eter driven by Weronika Kwiatek had reached the third place.

Bartłomiej Kwiatek enriched his collection of the World Young Horses Championships medals and won the medal number 5! Together with a 6 year old mare Rebelia (Hutor – Regencja /​ ​Bank) he won the Bronze Medal. What’s more all his medals were won by the horses bred in the Książ Silesian bred Stud farm. These great driving horses have been among the world leading horses for many years.

In 2015 Kwiatek won the World Championships in the 6 year old hotse category with Bazyli – a Silesian bred stallion (Lokan śl. – Bazylia /​​ Palant śl.) and won the Silver medal with Frezja – a Silesian bred mare (Regiment śl. – Fuksja /​​ Jogurt śl.)
A year later he became the Vice-Champion of the World in the 5 year old horse category with the mare Rebelia and won also the Bronze medal in the 7 year old horse category with the stallion Bazyli.
